Heavier rain will move back into the region this afternoon.
However, with temperatures rising into the mid 30s, the threat of
freezing rain has ended. Sleet may mix in with the rain at times
early this afternoon but not additional sleet accumulation is
expected.

* WHAT...A wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain is occurring.
  Plan on difficult travel conditions. Total snow and sleet
  accumulations of 2 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of one-
  tenth to two-tenths inch are expected.

* WHERE...In New Jersey, Sussex county. In Pennsylvania, Carbon
  and Monroe counties.

* WHEN...Snow has transitioned to sleet and freezing rain early
  this afternoon. Freezing rain may change over to plain rain at
  lower elevations late in the afternoon while freezing rain
  continues at higher elevations across the northern portions of
  each county through early this evening. A brief changeover back
  to snow is possible before ending from west to east this
  evening between 7 and 9 PM.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on very difficult travel conditions
  through the evening commute.
