...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
330 AM EST FOR MORRIS...SUSSEX...WARREN...BERKS...LEHIGH...CARBON...
MONROE AND NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 1154 PM EST, several river and stream gauges in the advisory area
were rising as a result of earlier heavy rainfall. Though the
heaviest rainfall has ended, runoff will continue to produce rises
on small creeks and streams, especially in northern New Jersey,
where the heaviest rainfall has occurred and where antecedent
conditions are especially wet.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Allentown, Reading, Easton, Hazleton, Morristown, Port Jervis,
Newton, Lehighton, Montague, Mount Pocono, Bethlehem, Dover, Madison,
Hopatcong, Forks, Florham Park, Emmaus, East Hanover, Wyomissing and
Kinnelon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
