The water may be deeper than you think.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Rockaway River at Boonton Below Resvr.
* Until Saturday evening...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 3:30 PM Friday the stage was 4.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage late this afternoon and
  continue to rise to near 5.4 feet tonight. The river will fall
  below flood stage by tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact...At 6.0 feet...Flooding occurs on Vail Road in Montville.
  The Road heading into Parsippany is subject to closures.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 5.3
  feet on Oct 30 2003.
