* At  5:45 AM Monday the stage was 19.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 19.3 feet by this evening.
  Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 19.5 feet...Horseneck Road in Fairfield is subject to flooding and
  closures.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.3 feet on Mar 30
  1994.
