...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 AM EDT FOR BERKS...
NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY AND NORTHEASTERN CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 626 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding across the
warned area. The Perkiomen Creek is above flood stage in several
spots, and reports of water rescues are still being received from
Montgomery County. Numerous road closures remain in place in Berks
and Montgomery Counties as well.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Reading, West Chester, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Wyomissing,
Downingtown, Souderton, Birdsboro, Collegeville, Kutztown,
Royersford, Fleetwood, Sinking Spring, Laureldale, Trappe, East
Greenville, Womelsdorf, Wernersville, Newmanstown and Topton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
