...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 AM EDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN NEW CASTLE...NORTHERN KENT...QUEEN ANNE'S...NORTHEASTERN
CAROLINE...KENT AND SOUTHEASTERN CECIL COUNTIES...

At 210 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated up to two inches of rain have
fallen in the advisory area. Though the heavy rainfall has ended,
runoff from earlier rains will cause minor flooding in the advisory
area for the next couple of hours.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Dover, Middletown, Elkton, Centerville, Pennsville, Smyrna,
Chestertown, Centreville, Clayton, Delaware City, Cheswold, Rock
Hall, Charlestown, Church Hill, Cecilton, Millington, Sudlersville,
Betterton, Hartly and Old Town.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
