...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN OCEAN COUNTY...

At 639 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Pleasant
Plains, or near Toms River, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

This severe storm will be near...
  Toms River, Leisure Village and Leisure Village East around 645 PM
  EDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Silver
Ridge, Leisure Knoll, Holiday Heights, South Toms River, Holiday
City, Island Heights and Crestwood Village.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground lightning is
occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Remember, if
you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
poor drainage flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
