...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 AM EDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN MORRIS...EAST CENTRAL HUNTERDON...SOMERSET AND NORTH
CENTRAL MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 1222 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain fell across the
warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash
flooding is already occurring. Many of the area rivers and streams
are quickly rising in response to the heavy rain.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Morristown, Somerville, Bridgewater, Madison, Middlesex, Florham
Park, East Hanover, Bound Brook, Manville, Chatham, Mendham, Peapack
And Gladstone, Far Hills, Flagtown, Martinsville, Millington, White
House Station, Basking Ridge, South Plainfield and North Plainfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
