...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN MORRIS AND NORTHERN
SOMERSET COUNTIES...

At 1125 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Bridgewater,
or near Somerville, moving northeast at 40 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Morristown, Somerville, Bridgewater, Madison, Middlesex, Florham
Park, East Hanover, Bound Brook, Chatham, Fairfield, Peapack And
Gladstone, Far Hills, Martinsville, Millington, Basking Ridge, North
Plainfield, Bernardsville, Raritan, Watchung and Hanover Township.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
