...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EASTERN WARREN AND NORTH
CENTRAL BUCKS COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
northern and northwestern New Jersey.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM EDT
FOR CENTRAL MORRIS...EASTERN HUNTERDON...SOUTH CENTRAL SUSSEX AND
WESTERN SOMERSET COUNTIES...

At 851 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Hamburg to near Lake Telemark to near Flemington,
moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Emergency management. Several reports of wind damage have
         been received from Warren and Hunterdon Counties.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Morristown, Somerville, Bridgewater, Dover, Hopatcong, Manville,
Wharton, Rockaway, Morris Plains, Mount Arlington, Franklin, Mendham,
Flemington, Mountain Lakes, High Bridge, Stanhope, Netcong, Clinton,
Peapack And Gladstone and Ogdensburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Mount Holly NJ.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
