...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT
FOR WEST CENTRAL WARREN...SOUTH CENTRAL MONROE AND NORTHEASTERN
NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 610 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Wind Gap, or 10
miles north of Easton, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. Wind gusts to 62 mph were
         reported in Bath around 6 pm as this storm passed, with
         trees reported down as well.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Bethlehem, East Stroudsburg, Nazareth, Bangor, Pen Argyl, Wind Gap,
Bath, Belvidere, Oxford, Belfast, Tatamy, East Bangor, Steuben,
Stormville, Saylorsburg, Rossland, Roxburg, Stroudsburg, Roseto and
Stockertown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough
to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
