...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN BERKS COUNTY...

At 429 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Reamstown, or
near Ephrata, moving northeast at 10 mph.

Winds up to 50 mph and dime size hail are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Birdsboro, Sinking Spring, Laureldale,
Wernersville, Elverson, New Morgan, Spring Ridge, Shillington, West
Reading, Mount Penn, Mohnton, Kenhorst, St. Lawrence, Wyomissing
Hills, West Lawn, Lorane, Reiffton and Whitfield.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
eastern Pennsylvania.
