...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN CHESTER COUNTY...

At 803 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cochranville,
or 15 miles west of West Chester, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

This severe storm will be near...
  Parkesburg around 815 PM EDT.
  Coatesville around 825 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include
Avondale, Toughkenamon, Atglen, Christiana, South Coatesville and
Modena.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground lightning is
occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Remember, if
you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
