SAFETY MESSAGE...Do not attempt to drive through flooded areas. The water may be
deeper than you think.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Brandywine Creek at Chadds Ford.
* from this afternoon to Tuesday afternoon...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:30 AM Monday the stage was 7.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this afternoon and continue to rise
  to near 10.6 feet by tomorrow morning.the river will fall below flood stage by
  late tomorrow morning.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet...The intersections of Creek Road and Route 926 near
  Pocopson floods upstream of Chadds Ford.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.5 feet on Mar 10
  1994.
