* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage later this
  afternoon.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Residential basements flood along Jefferson
  Avenue.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.7 feet
  on Sep 8 2011.
