* Flood Warning for Urban Areas and Small Streams in...
  Northern New Castle County in northern Delaware...
  Northwestern Camden County in southern New Jersey...
  West central Burlington County in southern New Jersey...
  Berks County in eastern Pennsylvania...
  Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
  Lehigh County in eastern Pennsylvania...
  Northwestern Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
  Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
  Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
  Delaware County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 1231 PM EDT, although the heavy rain has ended, numerous road
  closures from ongoing flooding continues in southeastern
  Pennsylvania and northern Delaware. Additionally, many gauges in
  the area rivers and streams are still above flood stage with some
  of the larger basins still rising in response to the excess runoff
  from the heavy rain that fell this morning. Flooding will continue
  this afternoon in some of the hardest hit areas.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Philadelphia, Allentown, Reading, Camden, Wilmington, Newark, West
  Chester, Gloucester City, Bethlehem, Norristown, Chester,
  Pottstown, Phoenixville, Lansdale, West Norriton, East Norriton,
  Coatesville, Yeadon, Emmaus and Westtown.

The heaviest rain fell just west of I-476 in northeast Delaware
County and western Montgomery County in southeastern Delaware where
radar and automated gauges indicate 4 to 6 inches of rain fell this
morning. Several areas in Chester and Berks County also received 2
to 4 inches of rain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
