The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Carbon County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 245 PM EDT.

* At 1039 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
  minor flooding across portions of the advisory area. Up to one
  inch of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Easton, Lehighton, Mount Pocono, Forks, East Stroudsburg,
  Tobyhanna, Wilson, Nazareth, Palmerton, Bangor, Jim Thorpe, Pen
  Argyl, Nesquehoning, Wind Gap, Bath, Weatherly, Belfast, West
  Easton, Tatamy and East Bangor.

Additional rainfall of one inch is expected over the area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
