...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN CAPE MAY COUNTY...

At 203 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Strathmere, or
near Ocean City, moving northeast at 10 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Avalon, Strathmere and Seaville.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is also occurring with this storm
at the beach. Those on the beach should seek a safe shelter inside a
building or vehicle.
