...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 AM EDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN MORRIS...EASTERN HUNTERDON AND NORTHWESTERN SOMERSET
COUNTIES...

At 909 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will continue to cause minor flooding in the
advisory area. One to locally two inches of rain have already fallen.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Morristown, Somerville, Bridgewater, Madison, Florham Park, East
Hanover, Manville, Chatham, Boonton, Morris Plains, Mendham,
Flemington, Mountain Lakes, Peapack And Gladstone, Chester, Victory
Gardens, Lebanon, Far Hills, Millstone and Flagtown.

Additional rainfall of less than one inch is expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
