...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 AM EDT FOR
CENTRAL BERKS COUNTY...

At 556 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in
Bernville with a water rescue in progress at the intersection of
Plum Creek Road and Bloomsburg Road. Four inches of rain may have
fallen in this area in a little over an hour. Flash flooding is
already occurring.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Hamburg, Sinking Spring, Laureldale, Womelsdorf,
Wernersville, Newmanstown, Leesport, Shoemakersville, Bernville,
Strausstown, Spring Ridge, Fairview Hgts, Shillington, West Reading,
Mount Penn, Mohnton, Kenhorst and St. Lawrence.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
