...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT WESTERN BERKS COUNTY...

At 530 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Lebanon,
moving east at 25 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this storm.

Locations that may be impacted include...

Reading, Wyomissing, Sinking Spring, Laureldale, Womelsdorf,
Wernersville, Newmanstown, Leesport, Bernville, New Morgan, Spring
Ridge, Fairview Hgts, Shillington, West Reading, Mount Penn,
Mohnton, Kenhorst, St. Lawrence, West Lawn and Lorane.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
