...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 AM EDT FOR SUSSEX AND
WARREN COUNTIES...

At 540 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in portions
of Warren County, including on West Washington Avenue in Washington
Boro. Widespread two to four inch rainfall totals have occurred in
Warren and Sussex Counties, with another inch or so possible.
Flooding is expected to continue for the next few hours.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Port Jervis, Newton, Montague, Hopatcong, Hackettstown, Washington,
Blairstown, Mount Arlington, Franklin, Stanhope, Hamburg, Netcong,
Belvidere, Harmony, Oxford, Ogdensburg, Alpha, Sussex, Hope and
Hampton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
