...THE FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS
REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 AM EDT FOR MONROE COUNTY...

At 332 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain that
will cause minor flooding. Widespread one to two inch rainfall
totals have occurred in Monroe County. Overflowing poor drainage
areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Wind Gap, Stormville,
Henryville, Brodheadsville, Kunkletown, Werry Lake, Pocono Pines,
Gilbert, Pocono Raceway, Delaware Water Gap, Skytop, Tannersville,
Mountainhome, Alpine Mountain, Rossland, Long Pond and Kresgeville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
