The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Sussex County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Warren County in northwestern New Jersey...

* Until midnight EDT.

* At 756 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Up to one inch of rain has already fallen, with an additional inch
  of rainfall possible through this evening.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Newton, Hopatcong, Hackettstown, Washington, Blairstown, Franklin,
  Stanhope, Hamburg, Oxford, Ogdensburg, Sussex, Hope, Branchville,
  Andover, Lake Mohawk, Greendell, Millbrook, Vernon Valley,
  Pellettown and Crandon Lakes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
