NORTHEASTERN SOMERSET AND NORTH CENTRAL MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 236 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Crandon Lakes to near Millburn.
Movement was north at 40 mph.

Winds up to 45 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Morristown, Port Jervis, Newton, Dover, Madison, Hopatcong, Florham
Park, East Hanover, Lincoln Park, Kinnelon, Chatham, Boonton, Butler,
Wharton, Rockaway, Morris Plains, Mount Arlington, Franklin, Mendham
and Mountain Lakes.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
