...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS
EVENING...

* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph becoming
  west northwest 20 to 30 mph early this afternoon with gusts up
  to 60 mph.

* TIMING...Following the passage of a cold front, widespread west
  northwest winds gusting 45 to 60 mph will occur through the
  afternoon before diminishing in the early evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph becoming
  west northwest 20 to 30 mph early this afternoon with gusts up
  to 50 mph.

* TIMING...A line of showers with embedded thunderstorms will move
  through with a cold front early this afternoon, and this could
  bring localized wind gusts to 50 mph or greater. Following the
  passage of the cold front, widespread west northwest winds
  gusting 40 to 50 mph will occur through the afternoon before
  diminishing in the early evening.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power
  lines. Scattered power outages are expected. Limited
  visibilities will make travel difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected.
The wind can make driving difficult, especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution. Light-weight outdoor objects such as
patio furniture and garbage cans should be secured.
