Bands of light to moderate snow continue to move across the area
this morning. Snow amounts of 3 to 5 inches have fallen across
much of northwest New Jersey as well as the southern Poconos and
Lehigh Valley of eastern Pennsylvania. The snow should be coming
to an end over the next couple of hours, but another 1 to 3 inches
looks possible before the snow ends. The snow will accumulate on
roadways, especially bridges and overpasses, resulting in
hazardous driving conditions.

The rain/snow line has been shifting gradually southward and now
extends from northern Ocean County New Jersey westward through
Philadelphia into southern Chester County in Pennsylvania. Snow
accumulations of less than an inch are expected from around this
line southward before the snow ends later this morning. Some snow
accumulation is possible on roadways, especially bridges and
overpasses, so use extra caution for the morning commute.
