...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Snow occurring. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 5
inches are expected, with locally higher totals in the higher
elevations of the southern Poconos and northwest New Jersey.
* WHERE...Portions of central, northern and northwest New Jersey
and east central, northeast and southeast Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...Snow is now occurring in most of the advisory area, with
any remaining rain expected to change over by 6 am. A band of
heavy snow has developed in much of the Lehigh Valley
northeastward into northern New Jersey, with more heavy snow
likely to occur in the southern Poconos in the next couple of
hours. Snow will remain moderate to heavy at times through the
morning commute before tapering off late this morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on very difficult travel conditions,
including during this morning's commute. Expect poor
visibilities below one-half mile at times in heavy snow. Road
conditions will be highly dependent on snowfall rates and
elevation as rates greater than one inch per hour and slightly
colder temperatures in the hilly terrain will allow for
untreated roads to become snow covered. High temperatures this
afternoon in the 40s will lead to rapid melting.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The
latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be
obtained by calling 5 1 1.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...A wintry mix expected. Additional wet snow accumulations
of up to 2 inches are expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southern New Jersey and southeast
Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...Rain will transition to a wintry mix of sleet and wet
snow during the morning commute. Burst of heavier sleet and snow
may occur between now and 10 am before tapering off late this
morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on travel delays for the morning
commute, with poor visibility below one-half mile at times in
bursts of heavy snow. Road conditions will be highly dependent
on snowfall rates as rates near one inch per hour could allow
for a slushy accumulation on untreated secondary roads. High
temperatures this afternoon in the 40s will lead to rapid
melting.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory for wet snow means periods of wet snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...A wintry mix expected. Additional wet snow accumulations
of up to two inches are expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southern New Jersey.
* WHEN...Rain will mix with snow and sleet at times this morning.
Heavier bursts of sleet and snow may quickly accumulate on
grassy surfaces, but little accumulation is expected on
pavement. Precipitation should taper off by midday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on travel delays for the morning
commute, with poor visibility of one-half mile or less at times
in bursts of heavier sleet and snow. Road conditions are
expected to be mostly wet. However, if heavier bursts of sleet
and snow occur, slushy accumulations may occur on untreated
roads. High temperatures this afternoon in the 40s will lead to
rapid melting.

A Winter Weather Advisory for wet snow means periods of wet snow
