New Jersey coasts Tuesday night through Wednesday. A period of
rain, gusty winds, and coastal flooding are all possible, but are
dependent on the track.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southern Delaware, central
New Jersey and southern New Jersey.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

There is a moderate risk for the development of dangerous rip
currents.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Tropical Storm Jose is forecast to lift northward off of Delaware and
New Jersey coasts Tuesday night through Wednesday. A period of
rain, gusty winds, and coastal flooding are all possible, but are
dependent on the track.

The highest risk of coastal flooding will be with the Monday evening
and Tuesday evening high tides. Astronomical tides are already
running high with the approach of the new moon.

Swells from Jose are expected to create a dangerous surf through the
middle part of next week. A moderate to high risk for the
development of dangerous rip currents is anticipated for Saturday
through Wednesday.

Minor beach erosion is possible.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Tropical Storm Jose is forecast to lift northward off of Delaware and
New Jersey coasts Tuesday night through Wednesday. Based off the
current track, gale force wind gusts and building seas up to 10-15
feet can be expected on Tuesday and Tuesday night.
