SUSSEX...WARREN...SOUTHEASTERN CARBON...SOUTH CENTRAL MONROE AND
EASTERN NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 501 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Lake Telemark to near Roxburg.
Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Easton, Newton, Hopatcong, Forks, Kinnelon, Hackettstown, Wilson,
Butler, Wharton, Washington, Blairstown, Bangor, Mount Arlington,
Franklin, Stanhope, Pen Argyl, Hamburg, Netcong, Wind Gap and
Belvidere.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may cause
localized flooding in poor drainage areas. Do not drive your vehicle
through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is also occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
