...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 8 AM EDT
TUESDAY...
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 8 AM EDT
Tuesday.
* WINDS...Southeast 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 45 to 50 mph...
primarily confined to elevations at or above 1,500 feet.
* TIMING...The strongest winds will occur after midnight tonight
until around dawn Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Downed tree limbs may lead to isolated power outages,
driving may be difficult, and any loose outdoor objects may be
blown about.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Light-weight outdoor
objects such as patio furniture and garbage cans should be
secured.
