...The end of the growing season for much of Pennsylvania and
the northern two thirds of New Jersey...

There were widespread freezing or below freezing temperatures
early this morning for a large portion of eastern Pennsylvania
and the northern thirds of New Jersey. As a result, the growing
season has ended in the additional following counties:

In New Jersey:

Morris
Middlesex
Monmouth
Burlington

In Pennsylvania:

Berks
Lehigh

Since the growing season has come to an end in these counties, it
means that Frost Advisories and/or Freeze Watches and Freeze
Warnings will not be issued again until the start of the growing
season during Spring of 2018.

Meanwhile the growing season continues through the morning of November
15th or the occurrence of a widespread frost - freeze, whichever
comes first, for Maryland's eastern shore as well as the state of
Delaware. This also applies to Philadelphia and Delaware counties
in Pennsylvania, as well as Camden, Gloucester, Atlantic, Cape
May, Cumberland and Salem counties in far southern New Jersey.
