...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN MORRIS...
SUSSEX AND EAST CENTRAL WARREN COUNTIES...

At 1141 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Branchville to near Newton to near
Great Meadows-Vienna. Movement was east at 35 mph.

These storms will be near...
  Newton, Branchville, Andover and Pellettown around 1145 PM EDT.
  Hopatcong, Hamburg, Sussex and Lake Mohawk around 1155 PM EDT.
  Stanhope, Ogdensburg and Budd Lake around 1200 AM EDT.
  Franklin, Netcong, Vernon Valley, Highland Lake and Succasunna
  around 1205 AM EDT.
  Mount Arlington, Succasunna-Kenvil and Green Pond around 1210 AM
  EDT.
  Dover, Wharton, Victory Gardens, Lake Telemark and Upper Greenwood
  Lake around 1215 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include White Meadow Lake.

Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm...and may cause
ponding on roadways and poor drainage areas. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm. If you see
lightning or hear thunder seek a safe shelter inside a building or
vehicle.
