...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN ATLANTIC...SOUTHEASTERN OCEAN AND SOUTHEASTERN
BURLINGTON COUNTIES...

At 253 PM EDT, the public reported minor flooding in Atlantic City
and on Long Beach Island. Up to two inches of rain have already
fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Atlantic City, Ocean City, Barnegat, Pleasantville, Somers Point,
Ventnor City, Brigantine, Northfield, Absecon, Margate City, Egg
Harbor City, Tuckerton, Estell Manor, Surf City, Port Republic,
Longport, Corbin City, Wading River, Warren Grove and Pomona.

Additional rainfall of up to one inch is possible over the area this
afternoon before the rain tapers off. This additional rain will
result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
