...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT Until 445 PM EDT for
north central Ocean and eastern Monmouth Counties...

At 130 PM EDT...Doppler radar indicated heavy rain was still falling
across portions of the warned area. Between three and four inches
have already fallen.

In Monmouth county, the County Office of Emergency Management
reported that some roads are impassable in Middletown including
Palmer Avenue, Route 36 and Thompson Avenue, Herb Road, and Main
Street in Belford. In addition, local police in Howell are reporting
that Fairfield Road and Route 33 as well as Friendship Road and
Church Road are impassable.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Driving into flood waters could put your life at risk and cost you
thousands of dollars in vehicle repairs. Flood waters may be
deeper than you think. Turn around and find an alternate route.
