...FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT
SATURDAY...

* LOCATIONS...Higher terrain above 1000 feet in elevation in
  Monroe County.

* HAZARD TYPES...Freezing rain.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...One-tenth to two-tenths of an inch.

* TIMING...Precipitation is expected to switch back and forth
  between rain and freezing rain tonight as temperatures hover
  very close to freezing. However, the highest ridges in the
  county will likely see freezing rain persist during this time.
  Freezing rain is expected to end early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Ice accumulations will create treacherous driving
  conditions. The weight of the ice on tree limbs and power
  lines could produce numerous power outages.

* WINDS...East 10 to 20 mph, becoming northeast late tonight.
  Gusts up to 35 mph this evening along the ridges.

* TEMPERATURES...In the low 30s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
