...SPOTTY FREEZING RAIN THIS MORNING IN FAR NORTHERN AND WESTERN
SUBURBS OF PHILADELPHIA...

At 800 AM...A light wintry mix of snow, sleet and rain was
falling across the far northern and western suburbs of
Philadelphia in western portions of Montgomery and in Bucks
counties. While temperatures at most locations are above freezing,
a few of the coldest spots range between 28 and 32 degrees,
resulting in pockets of light freezing rain or freezing drizzle. A
very light glaze of ice may form on untreated surfaces in these
colder spots such as Doylestown, Quakertown, Durham, Lumberville,
Pottstown and Upper Hanover.

Use caution if walking outside or driving on local roads that are
untreated in case you encounter an icy patch.

Temperatures in these colder spots are expected to rise above
freezing by 930 AM with precipitation transitioning to plain rain.

At 800 AM...A light wintry mix of snow, sleet and rain was
falling across central New Jersey. While temperatures at most
locations are above freezing, a few of the coldest spots in the
hilly terrain in northwestern Mercer and Middlesex counties and
in Hunterdon and Somerset counties are still in the lower 30s.
Spotty light freezing rain or freezing drizzle in these colder
locations could result in a very light glaze of ice that forms on
untreated surfaces.

Use caution if walking outside or driving on local roads that are
untreated in case you encounter an icy patch.

Temperatures are expected to rise above freezing by 900 AM with
precipitation transitioning to plain rain.
