...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* LOCATIONS...The Interstate 95 corridor, New Jersey Coastal
  Plains, and central and northern Delmarva.

* WINDS...West 20 to 30 mph with peak gusts 45 to 50 mph.

* TIMING...The strongest winds will occur late this afternoon.
  Winds should begin to diminish just after sunset this evening.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power
  lines. Scattered power outages are expected. There is a higher
  risk of tree and power line damage today due to ice and/or
  snow in many locations as well as a saturated ground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Light-weight outdoor
objects such as patio furniture and garbage cans should be
secured.
