Bands of moderate to locally heavy snow will continue to push
through the Lehigh Valley, Poconos, and northern New Jersey late
this afternoon. An additional inch or so of snow accumulation is
likely. In addition, strong northwest winds of 15 to 20 MPH with
gusts up to 30 MPH will result in areas of blowing and drifting
snow.

Areas of light freezing rain and freezing drizzle will impact most
of southwest Pennsylvania and areas in northern and central New
Jersey mainly to the north and west of Interstate 95 this
afternoon. Untreated roads will become slick and icy. In addition,
with temperatures falling below freezing into this evening, areas
of black ice will develop as the slushy residue freezes.
