...A MAJOR WINTER STORM WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT OUR REGION...
.Low pressure located over eastern North Carolina early this
morning will move northeastward. The low is forecast to pass
across the waters off Delaware and New Jersey today before
reaching southeastern New England this evening. The storm will
bring hazardous conditions to much of our region. Blizzard
conditions are likely for a few hours in eastern Pennsylvania and
northern New Jersey where snowfall rates of 2 to 4 inches per hour
are possible.

Weather Advisory for snow and sleet. It is in effect until 6:00 PM
this evening. The Winter Storm Warning has been cancelled.
* LOCATIONS...Portions of southern and southeastern New Jersey.
* HAZARD TYPES...Snow and sleet.
* ACCUMULATIONS...Snow and sleet accumulations of 1 to 4 inches.
* TIMING...Snow and sleet will continue to mix with rain at
times. The precipitation should change to all snow before ending
early this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...The snow and sleet will create slippery conditions.
Strong winds will bring down trees and utility wires resulting
in power outages.
* WINDS...Northeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
* TEMPERATURES...Mainly in the 30s.
