...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a High
Wind Warning...which is in effect until 10 AM EST this morning.
The Wind Advisory is no longer in effect.

* Locations...northeast and east central Pennsylvania and far
  northwest New Jersey.

* WINDS...West wind 30 to 35 mph at times with widespread gusts 50
  to 60 mph. Isolated higher gusts in high terrain.

* TIMING...Winds diminish, probably around 9 AM or 10 AM.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and
  impact high profile vehicles traveling open high terrain and
  over bridges. Some tree limbs or wires are expected to break
  and cause power outages.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

* TIMING...Strongest westerly wind gusts of 45 to 55 MPH should
  occur between now and 9 am.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages will result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Light-weight outdoor
objects such as patio furniture and garbage cans should be
secured.
