The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Sussex County in northwestern New Jersey...

* Until 1000 PM EDT

* At 600 PM EDT...Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Port Jervis, Newton, Montague, Hopatcong, Franklin, Stanhope,
  Hamburg, Netcong, Ogdensburg, Sussex, Branchville, Andover, High
  Point, Lake Mohawk, Greendell, Vernon Valley, Five Points,
  Pellettown, Crandon Lakes and Highland Lake.

Additional rainfall of over one inch is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
