...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN TALBOT AND
SOUTHWESTERN CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 625 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Oxford, or near
Easton, moving east at 15 mph.

Winds up to 45 mph and half inch hail are possible with this storm.

Downpours with this storm will lead to low visibility and ponding of
waters on roadways. Use extra caution if driving.

Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning
can strike more than 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Locations impacted include...
Easton, Trappe, Preston, Oxford, Matthews, Choptank, Tanyard,
Harmony, Hambleton, Griffin, Windyhill and Cordova.
