The heavy rain has ended, and flooding is no longer expected to pose
a threat.

...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM EDT FOR OCEAN
AND SOUTHEASTERN MONMOUTH COUNTIES...

At 951 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the storms producing the
heavy rainfall have moved well offshore. Gauge reports indicate up
to an inch of rain has fallen in the advisory area. Street flooding
has been reported in the Belmar area. Some minor flooding may still
occur for the next few hours as runoff continues.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Toms River, Atlantic City, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Sandy Hook,
Lakewood, Jackson, Howell, Barnegat, Tinton Falls, Red Bank,
Beachwood, Ventnor City, Brigantine, Absecon, Manasquan, Highlands,
Point Pleasant Beach, Tuckerton and Seaside Heights.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
