...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 AM EDT FOR EASTERN
BERKS...NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY AND SOUTH CENTRAL LEHIGH COUNTIES...

At 559 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
minor flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor
flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already
fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Birdsboro, Kutztown, Fleetwood, Sinking Spring,
Laureldale, East Greenville, Topton, Bally, Bechtelsville, Lyons, New
Morgan, Spring Ridge, Ancient Oaks, Claussville, Geryville,
Gilbertsville, Stowe and Shillington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
