DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 527 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Glenmoore to near Coatesville to
Holtwood. Movement was east at 40 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Newark, West Chester, Calvert, Chester, Pennsville,
Coatesville, Yeadon, Westtown, Carneys Point, Downingtown, Folcroft,
Swarthmore, Elsmere, Kennett Square, New Castle, Penns Grove, Salem,
Oxford and Parkesburg.

Brief heavy downpours can be expected, which will reduce visibility
below one mile and cause ponding of water on roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is also occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike more than 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
