...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT
FOR SUSSEX...SOUTHERN KENT...EAST CENTRAL TALBOT AND SOUTHERN
CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 609 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Agner to near Sharptown to near Hebron, moving east at
40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Georgetown, Milford, Seaford, Denton, Millsboro, Laurel, Harrington,
Federalsburg, Milton, Bridgeville, Delmar, Dagsboro, Preston,
Ellendale, Bowers, Smithville, Gumboro, Agner, Andrewsville and
Harmony.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to damaging winds...frequent cloud to ground lightning
is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Remember...if you can hear thunder...you are close enough to be
struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
