...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN MORRIS...
CENTRAL SOMERSET AND NORTHERN MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 457 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Edison to near Bound Brook. Movement was
northeast at 40 mph.

Winds up to 50 mph are possible with these storms.

These storms will be near...
  Carteret, Colonia and Millington around 510 PM EDT.
  Chatham around 520 PM EDT.
  Madison and Florham Park around 525 PM EDT.
  East Hanover around 530 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Highland Park, South
Plainfield, Iselin, North Plainfield, South Bound Brook, Metuchen,
Watchung, Dunellen, Milltown and Woodbridge.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
