...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN NORTHAMPTON
COUNTY IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
northern and northwestern New Jersey...and southeastern Pennsylvania.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN MORRIS...HUNTERDON...SOUTH CENTRAL WARREN...
NORTHWESTERN SOMERSET AND NORTH CENTRAL BUCKS COUNTIES...

At 416 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Pleasant Valley to near Bloomsbury to Gardenville,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

These severe storms will be near...
  Washington, Glen Gardner, Hampton, Brass Castle and Pleasant
  Valley around 420 PM EDT.
  Clinton and Annandale around 425 PM EDT.
  High Bridge, Frenchtown and Lebanon around 430 PM EDT.
  Califon, Beatyestown and White House Station around 435 PM EDT.
  Sand Brook and Long Valley around 440 PM EDT.
  Mendham, Flemington, Peapack And Gladstone, Chester, Far Hills,
  Succasunna and Succasunna-Kenvil around 445 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Raritan and Bernardsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds...frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
immediately. Remember...if you can hear thunder...you are close
enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
