SOUTHWESTERN NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 242 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Hamburg to near Adamstown to
Leacock. Movement was east at 40 mph.

Winds up to 50 mph are possible with these storms.

These storms will be near...
  Hamburg, Shoemakersville and Spring Ridge around 250 PM EDT.
  Reading, Wyomissing, Laureldale and Lenhartsville around 255 PM
  EDT.
  Kutztown, Lyons and Wanamakers around 300 PM EDT.
  Birdsboro, Honey Brook and New Tripoli around 305 PM EDT.
  Topton and New Morgan around 310 PM EDT.
  Pottstown, Elverson, Claussville, Glenmoore and Schnecksville
  around 315 PM EDT.
  Bechtelsville, Gilbertsville, Coffeetown, Ancient Oaks and Neffs
  around 320 PM EDT.
  Allentown, Emmaus, Northampton, Bally and Pughtown around 325 PM
  EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include West Lawn,
Boyertown, West Reading, Pottsgrove, Lorane, Kenhorst, Hokendauqua,
South Pottstown, Red Hill and Amity Gardens.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
